Water System Design & Construction

In Uganda, water supply is mainly managed by national utilities. Unfortunately, these utilities primarily serve urban and peri-urban areas, leaving rural regions largely underserved due to the high costs and limited financial returns of extending traditional infrastructure. As Vektor, we go where others don’t. We design, build, and operate socially inclusive and environmentally sustainable water supply solutions tailored specifically for rural low- and middle-income communities—ensuring that no one is left behind.

Community Water Supply Mini-Grids

Community Water Supply Mini-Grids

We design, build, and operate community-level solar-powered water supply mini-grids that deliver clean, safe, and reliable water to rural communities, schools, health centres, and trading centres. These systems consist of a solar water pumping system, elevated storage tanks, and a distribution network of tap stands and household/institutional connections. We actively promote the productive use of water, creating income-generating opportunities for our customers such as backyard farming & more.

Individual Self-Supply Systems – Standalone

For households, farms, and institutions, we offer customised standalone water systems that empower individuals to manage their own water supply independently. These systems include groundwater wells, solar-powered water pumps, storage tanks, household water filters, and yard or household taps—ideal for both domestic use and small-scale irrigation.

Rainwater Harvesting Systems

Our rainwater harvesting systems are designed to collect and store rainwater from rooftops. We offer full installation of gutters, filters, storage tanks, and household water filters to help clients access water even during the dry season. These systems are cost-effective, easy to maintain, and an excellent supplement to other water sources.
